The Northwest Indiana Fencing Club (NIFC) is a recreational fencing club in St. John IN, teaching Olympic Style Fencing (Ages 6 to 99), while supporting competitive fencers.

Open Fencing is every Monday & Wednesday from 6:30-8:30PM.
We are temporarily CLOSED on Friday,  We will resume with a different Friday format in September.

THURSDAY afternoons, 4:15pm to 6:15pm.  Sign up for classes that meet every Thursday for 2 hours and are taught by Coach Marek Stepien (OLY) at NIFC.  
Ideal for competive fencers.
This class is aimed at fencers ages 14+ who have prior Epee experience,

Class will start Tuesday October 13.
No experience needed, age 10 - Adult
Fastest of the 3 weapons, fairly easy to learn, Our most popular class has a mix of pre-teens, teens, parents/children and adults taking the class.  Taught by NIFC coaches & volunteers.

We are hosting USA Fencing sanctioned events in December, February and April!
2 Weapon Winter Classic (Epee/Saber): Sunday, Dec 6th
2 Weapon Lunar New Year Open (Epee/Foil): Sunday, Feb 7th
3 Weapon Spring Open: Saturday April 11th & Sunday April 12th

We offer programs on Wednesday & Saturday 

No experience necessary.

Olympian Marek Stepien will be leading a new Foil Class starting in SEPTEMBER.

The class is ideal for people with some prior Foil experience who want to enhance competition skills or simply improve recreational fencing skills
