The Northeast Running Club is accepting nominations for our 2024 club scholarship awards. During the past twenty-eight years, NERC has awarded over $100,000 to 170 student-athletes. Our club is committed to supporting young runners and has allocated funds for scholarships for area athletes. If you know any high school seniors from Northeast Ohio who have participated in cross-country and/or track teams and might be interested, please pass along the application to them.
Seniors nominated should meet the following criteria:
· Achievement of “B” average or higher
· Demonstration of leadership qualities
· Involvement in school activities and/or community service
· Participation in cross-country or a running event in track
· College Acceptance

Applications are due by Sunday May 19, 2024
Awards will be presented at our July 15,2024 Summer Picnic. The Flag Day Race will be on Wednesday. June 12 and a XC race will be held on a Tuesday in August. Please keep in mind that money generated from these events support the scholarship fund.
