2027 NERC Scholarships

Supporting the next generation of runners.

Northeast Running Club scholarships recognize graduating student-athletes who combine dedication to running with strong academics, leadership, and service to their communities.

Nominations for 2027

NERC will accept nominations for graduating high school seniors from Northeast Ohio who have participated in cross-country and/or running events in track. Coaches, teachers, families, and community members are encouraged to share the application with deserving student-athletes once it is published.

Nominee eligibility

Seniors considered for a NERC scholarship should meet the following criteria.

B+

Academic achievement A “B” average or higher

Leadership Demonstrated leadership qualities

School and community involvement Participation in school activities and/or community service

Running participation Cross-country or a running event in track

College acceptance Acceptance to a college or post-secondary program
