Welcome to Northeast Running Club (NERC)! This club began as a small group of about 25 runners in 1982 and has grown to a membership of hundreds of runners and walkers.We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit chapter of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Whether you're interested in running your first 5k or are looking for support to complete a 50k, there’s a place in this club for you! We get together for group runs, Pub run/walks, help each other achieve goals, offer a Grand Prix race series for members, volunteer at races, and award scholarships to area high school students. Many of our members live in Lake County, Ohio but we also have members from Geauga, Ashtabula, and Cuyahoga counties. Join us for an event today!
