Meet local runners, stay motivated, and find a welcoming group for nearly any pace or distance.
NERC group runs are a great way to meet new runners, learn from one another, and stay motivated throughout the year.
Some runners start early for extra miles and return to the meeting point for the regular start. Visit the NERC Facebook events page to coordinate early starts and check for updates.
Paved and crushed-limestone loops make it easy to build a route of roughly 1, 3, or 5 miles. A 10–12 minute-per-mile group is commonly available, but participants may choose any comfortable distance or pace.
Winter attendance may be lighter. Bring a flashlight or headlamp when conditions are dark.
Coach Rick Webb leads structured workouts that help runners develop speed, strength, and consistency in a safe, injury-conscious manner.
The primary route follows asphalt bike paths, including the paved Greenway Corridor Trail in Concord. Additional routes may continue toward Painesville or Chardon using the Maple Highlands Trail.
Our Pub Run/Walks are monthly Tuesday evening social events held at Birdie Kings in Concord May through October. Whether you run, walk, or simply join us afterward, everyone is welcome!
Check our social pages for reminders, route details, and any event updates.
Wear visible or reflective clothing for road and low-light runs. Carry a headlamp or flashlight when needed.
Registered NERC members attending club group runs and events are covered through RRCA insurance.
