This year I will be running in honor of #pray4sophia. Sophia was diagnosed with T-Cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) when she was 12 yrs old.  She battled thru two yrs of chemo and is currently in remission - WooHoo!! She's a fighter and I will think of her courage in the dark hours of the race when every step becomes a battle.  Pediatric cancer research is less well funded than the more well known cancers - but this needs to change! By honoring our fighters, like Sophia, we raise awareness and hopefully funding to hopefully, one day, end pediatric cancer.
