Hi Folks!

It's Crazy Gwen here!  Yes, that's right....I am admitting that I am CRAZY!!! (YOU'VE known that now for quite some time. )  WHY am I admitting this you ask?  Because I am once again participating in the Snowdrop Ultra 55 Hour Race!  I did it last year because I wanted to see if I could ACTUALLY cover 100 miles without dying.  This year I'm walking it again because, well,  I am absolutely CRAZY! 

This is the 4th year that Snowdrop has sponsored this amazing event and I have been there every year so far.  Truthfully, it's MY New Year's tradition.  It's great exercise; it's fun and most importantly, it's for a tremendous cause - Snowdrop Foundation!  This group of dedicated people provides scholarships to childhood cancer survivors as well as funding for pediatric cancer research. Just the other day (December 2nd actually) they gave Texas Children's Hospital a research grant of $150,000!!  Isn't that fantastic? It couldn't be done without your support!

The Snowdrop Ultra 55 Hour Race & Relay is how I choose to give back to my community and I really hope you will join me!  The event takes place out in Memorial Park in Sugarland beginning December 30 at 7 am and concludes at 2 pm on New Year's Day - 55 hours in total.  I'd LOVE for you to come out and meet the fabulous folks from Snowdrop!  Maybe you would like to WALK some laps with me? Perhaps you would rather boss me around?  This is THE CHANCE OF A LIFETIME PEOPLE! I'll get tired and need sometime to say "hurry up!", "it's time for food",  or help me get up from a chair, etc.  There is food & drink, an amazing aid station and yours truly will have liquid medicine (ie alcohol!). 

Of course, the primary focus of this event is fundraising. How wonderful it could be if we could eradicate pediatric cancer!!  Would you please consider donating?  PLEASE?  NO AMOUNT is too small! And naturally, your contribution is tax deductible.
