On New Years Eve 2015 I watched the dedication and strength of several friends participating in the Snowdrop 55 Hour 100 Mile trail run live on Facebook. The event raises money and awareness for Pediatric Cancer. I was truly touched and inspired by watching the  commitment and dedication of each athlete to finish for such an amazing cause.

After reflecting on the loss and blessings 2015 brought and the struggles I am still facing in life I was reminded that God is in control and has given me my health and despite the setbacks I face in everyday life I can be used as a vessel to bless others who are faced with challenges that are so much greater than mine.   Helping others allows me to take the focus of whatever I may be facing and bless others in return blessing myself with growth and gratitude.

April 2016 I signed to participate in the The 4th Annual Snowdrop Foundation Ultra 55 Hour Race & Relay. This will be my 1st 100 Mile Trail Run and the most challenging goal I have set for myself however;  I know that the pain  and perseverance I will go through is little compared to what these children go through daily fighting cancer.   My training to reach the 100 Mile goal has begun and I look forward to being able to bless others and grow through every step I take on this Journey.

On December 30, 2016- January 1, 2017,  I will be participating in the The 4th Annual Snowdrop Foundation Ultra 55 Hour Race & Relay.  The event will take place at Sugar Land Memorial Park, in Texas to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research and scholarships.
