Welcome to my Snowdrop fundraising page!

The Snowdrop was an amazing experience. I am so glad I did it. And I am filled anew with thankfulness that I have the ability to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Every step is a gift from God.

"We run for those who can't" is a cliche, but it fits. So many will never be able to run, or walk, or are fighting for their lives against cancer or devastating injury. The Snowdrop Foundation raises money to fund research on pediatric cancers, and college scholarships for pediatric cancer survivors. I signed up for Snowdrop to run a cool race with my brother Dave (who is valiantly fighting his own battle against renal cancer). But as I learned more about Snowdrop, especially during the race as I visited with long-time Snowdrop Foundation volunteers, I became very impressed with the organization and I would like  to become an active supporter of Snowdrop's mission.

So, I decided to go ahead and set up this fundraising page, in case anyone who read my race report felt moved to make a donation. (No pressure...the page forced me to set a fundraising goal, but I made it a very small one. I have often found goals to be paralyzing...I sure don't don't want to impose my goals on someone else!)
