On Friday, December 30, 2016 - January 1 2017, women and men across the nation will unite in Texas and run an Ultra 55 HOURS Race through Sugar Land Memorial Park.
I have committed myself to walk/run and have decided to raise funds to help fight childhood cancer. My proceeds from the Ultra 55 Hour run will benefit the Snowdrop Foundation and will be used to fund pediatric cancer research and college scholarships for pediatric cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors. This will be my first ultra marathon and I am excited.
In order to reach my goal, I am asking for monetary donations and appreciate any support that you are able to provide. Since Snowdrop Foundation is an officially recognized 501 © (3) non-profit organization, your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
I am running/walking this to help end childhood cancer. A friend of mine has a daughter, Alaina, who was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 2 1/2. The same day she was diagnosed her baby brother was born. It was very devastating for the family. She went through 2 years of intense chemo and is a survivor. Alaina just turned 7 years old in Jan. This is what makes me want to help raise money to beat childhood cancer and also help with college scholarships. Please help however you can. Every little bit helps reach my goal of $5,000. The pics I have on the page are Alaina going through chemo and Alan today. She is a fighter and a ray of sunshine! Thank you for helping end childhood cancer.
