At CARA, we host training, racing and social programs and events throughout the year, resulting in a mass of registrations and transactions to account for. Prior to moving to The Driven, one of our staff members needed 10-12 hours per week to properly account for transactions with our old registration and membership system, Now, with The Driven, the time needed to manage financial reporting has been dramatically reduced by 80-90% due to the simple reporting features within The Driven. This time savings allows us to focus more time and resources on serving our members and participants, rather than being burdened with behind the scenes administrative tasks.
After using The Driven's platform for several years now, our running club views their club solution as an essential tool for membership management, weekly communication, and a central information hub that compliments our social media presence. The Iroquois School District Foundation ran our Spring Time Trials on April 30, 2017, and once again used The Driven online registration process to register our riders. After the race, I sent a survey to the riders to comment on the Presque Isle Time Trials. One of the questions asked in the survey was: "How easy was the online registration process for the Presque Isle Time Trials?" One of the things I have most appreciated in working with the Driven so far is their responsiveness. Their managerial group is great and they have a solid US and India based tech team that provides us with an amazingly quick response time when assistance is needed.
ConocoPhillips used The Driven for the first time for our 2016 Rodeo Run. We enjoyed working with them because they adapted to our needs and were very responsive. Several years ago, I was looking for a registration system that would support a new 5K I was directing. I had looked at several different registration systems and just felt like none of them could give me the end product I needed for this particular 5K that involved many different registration scenarios, and a charitable donation piece. The Driven did a beautiful job on HARRA's new custom website. Lots of cool features to manage our clubs, events, membership information and newsletters…all of which can be managed with ease by a non-programmer. They delivered a demo site within weeks of our kick-off meeting and often made changes based on our testing feedback within hours. Using The Driven has been a truly amazing experience during the most trying time of my life. I had never fathomed I would become a race director but upon the unexpected death of Kelsey, my dear friend and running partner who had suffered from flu complications, I had been convinced that organizing a race may be just the way to bring healing to a heart-broken community. Kelsey, a local elementary teacher, wife and mother, had also lost her younger sister Sara (tragically killed in a car wreck her senior year of high school) a few years prior to her own passing. And so Angel Run (for Kelsey and Sara) Half Marathon was created. Our first year alone we had close to 500 participants and with proceeds we were able to award four senior scholarships in memory of these sisters. While this was an overwhelming task to take on, John Keehan with The Driven helped us every step of the way to ensure the success of our race. Not only did they furnish online registration, they offered services to assist with fundraising and recommended extras such as chip timing, finish line accessories and PA announcing--little things that made a huge impression on race day. Organizing an event of this caliber in only three months required the knowledge and dedication this company and their representatives were willing to put forth and because of it we will always use them!
The Driven’s online registration was smooth and easy and superior to previous vendors used. The Dynamic Registration feature was incredible. The longest anyone waited in line was about 90 seconds. Previous years had folks in lines out the door. Also, our website looks great and editing and adding content ourselves was pretty easy, too. Our checks came in a timely manner and the ones sent prior to the actual event were an unexpected bonus.
The Driven provided the Lions Club with hands on direction and ideas in regards to how we could promote our 1K and 5K runs this year. The ability to track registrations up until race day as well as teams, T-shirts and online donations helped us manage our race and donations to our sight charities. We look forward to utilizing the Driven as we enter our 19th year and begin promotion of next year's run. Kudos to The Driven's support team! You all are amazing in your help and support!
We contacted The Driven with a huge event that we needed help organizing. It isn't a typical race-it's a 420-mile run over the course of 11 days that involves over 100 runners. We felt overwhelmed just thinking about it, but once we contacted Rebecca at The Driven, she put our minds at ease. We explained to her what our goals were, and she and her team went to work. Before we knew it, our event website was set up and folks were registering. We still contact her (and will continue to!) about needing help with our site, and her team tackles it with no problem.
