Disclaimer Note: Should the Park Service close Pere Marquette State Park due to severe inclement weather, the Metro Tri Club will cancel the Pere Marquette Endurance Trail Run and offer no refunds.

What is it? 

An off-road 7.8 mile Trail Run. We run along single-track trails through the scenic Pere Marquette State Park . Ours is considered the toughest & most grueling race in the Midwest!

Who?   

You ... that is if you are a runner looking to get off the road & try a real challenge.  We accept no Wimps or Whiners. Harsh penalties exist for anyone caught looking Wimpish or acting Whiner-like. 
 
Note:    Minimum age is 14 years old as of race date.

Course/Seeding?   

7.8 miles over very hilly terrain. Racers start in heats of 25  (every 30 seconds) according to our scientific seeding procedure, based on either an average of past Marquette Finish Time/s or on other parameters requested during registration. If data is not provided we consult www.athlinks.com

Lodging?   

Stay at the Lodge or there are many fine B&B''s in the Alton and Grafton area.


Packet Pick-Up?   

Race-Day morning in the Lodge - 7:30 am till 9:00 am. .

Race-Day morning, 9:00 am in the Lodge.

 

Awards? 

Male and Female Overall, Masters (40+), Top 3 Clydesdale (M) and Athena (F) and Top 3 age group in 5-year increments from 14 to the oldest person to finish

Entry Fee?

  • Online at RacesOnline.com only beginning Sept. 1st at 12:01 am.
  • $45+ credit card processing fee.
  • Limited to 700 entrants.
  • Race generally sells out in about 6 hours, so if you want in, don't wait.
  • No Race-Day Sign-Up

Rules?

  • To be eligible for an award, the runner must complete the entire race course.
  • Bandits will be disqualified & prohibited from future races.
  • Our Wave Start is strictly enforced, no early starters.
