Schedule

Practices are held each week in Lake County.  The season begins the Monday after Mother's Day. Participants can attend as many practices each week as they would like. Details on locations and times are posted on Facebook and communicated through the REMIND App. Be sure to check it regularly for any changes.

  • During the first few weeks, we will meet to focus on general conditioning
  • We are planning on meets and details will be communicated later.
  • Practices are rain or shine, unless there is inclement weather. (we practice indoors at the Dean & Barbara white community center during inclement weather).
  • Mondays will focus on speed work
  • Wednesdays will focus on track work (or additional speed work for those not doing traditional track)
  • Thursday practies are focused on those wanting to maintain base running/train for the Friendship 5K (those wanting to do track can come on this day)

Youth runners who want to stay or get in competitive shape should be training 4-5 days a week. Coaches can offer suggestions on the type of training runners should be doing on non-practice days.

Program updates and cancellations will be announced through Remind 101 and our Facebook page. Like and follow us on Facebook here. Coaches will provide details on Remind 101 signup at the beginning of each season.
