Team Anchored Hearts invites Delta Gamma sisters, family and friends to join us in supporting Maddie's Mission as we lovingly raise funds in memory of Madeline Armstrong, the daughter of our DG sister Farah Armstrong and the niece of our DG sister Kate Ghazi. Team Anchored Hearts wants every mother to have the knowledge needed to minimize her risk of contracting CMV during pregnancy, and this can only be done by increasing awareness through research, advocacy and education.
We are so proud of Farah for what she has accomplished through Maddie's Mission this past year, and we know that this is only the beginning. We hope that you will consider making a contribution to Maddie's Mission. We would love for as many DGs as possible, along with family and friends, to join Team Anchored Hearts as virtual supporters or in person on March 7th at the Save a Baby Today 5k/10k or 1-mile family walk. Please feel free to contact me at lesliejelsma@gmail.com if you need help registering or have questions.

Leslie
Practicing precautionary measures to protect the health of the unborn can be compared with wearing seatbelts in cars. Seatbelts were developed to protect people from serious injury in a crash. They can only make a difference if people know about them and use them. There will still be some crashes, but people who are belted in have done what they can to protect themselves. So, by learning about CMV and sharing the information with others, all will have the opportunity to do what they can to protect their future children from the potentially devastating effects of this virus.
