In celebration of our 5th year anniversary in 2015, My Hometown Heroes is initiating massive action to give away $1,000,000 in scholarship money to young adult survivors of cancer by 2020.  To ignite the #1Mx2020 movement we have developed the SCHOLAR SQUAD, a coalition of individuals, groups, survivors, and companies from across the United States that have each committed to helping My Hometown Heroes distribute $100,000 in scholarship by summer of 2015.  The minimum commitment per participant is to raise a minimum of $1,000 each by June 15, 2015. 

My Hometown Heroes recognizes that commitment with a listing on our website and newsletter, 2 tickets to the Resilience Gala in Fall 2015, social media shout-outs, MHH dry-fit running shirt, MHH 5 year anniversary commemorative name badge, thank you cards, and a signed copy of MHH founder's book (For A Reason).  A GoPro 4, skate decks, higher sponsorship visibility, and a pair of tickets to see your favorite music artist are up for grabs for those who raise the most money.

For the top 3 fundraisers, MHH will brand your name or company logo on the MHH skate decks, which will be given to each SCHOLAR SQUAD participant to raise a minimum of $1,500.
