My name is Diana and I am a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with papillary carcinoma March 5, 2014. I faced 2014 full of tests, surgeries, treatments, and recovery. It is costly, scary, and difficult dealing with an illness such as cancer and the road through treatment and to remission is overwhelming. What can be just as scary is the fact that your life will never be the same as it once was, not matter what and remission is just as anxious and scary as dealing with the diagnosis and treatments. The costs of this disease and bouncing back is overwhelming as well.
I am taking part in a wonderful opportunity to do a fundraiser for a foundation that is amazing as well as it's scholarship recipients. They are amazing soldiers in their fight and I want to campaign and raise scholarship funds for them.
I am excited to be a part of the #1Mx2020 initiative.
Please help me in my task and consider rallying behind My Hometown Heroes.
Thank you!
Diana
