NIFC's most common club competition is the President's Cup.
The President's Cup is a six round competition in each blade where members accumulate points through their performance in each of the rounds. Each round is a pool event, where fencers get points for their final standing, wins, and any positive indicator achieved. Each weapon is fenced, scored, and awarded independently. At the end of six rounds, the President's Cup will be awarded to the winner in each blade. Also, the fencer who accumulates the highest point total across all three blades will be declared the overall winner of the President's Cup Competition and will be awarded the Pitchford Trophy.
