I still run almost daily; not very far, very slowly and usually on my treadmill. I have only entered a few races in the past couple of years. I gave up coaching Cross Country and Track at Munster High School in 1997, after 11 years. I've been teaching a multi-age class of 1st and 2nd graders at Eads Elementary School in Munster for the past nine years, which is keeping me very busy! My husband, Bob, and I became grandparents in June of 2002 and are enjoying that immensely!
The Striders were a big part of our life for about 20 years. We made many lasting friendships and have countless memories of those years. Congratulations to The Calumet Region Striders on this, the 25th Anniversary!
