Last year was an incredible experience. I had signed up for the Snowdrop Foundation as a relay team member before but last year was my first as an individual participation. I had high hopes and expectations set for myself and the cause. Over the summer I participated in the Capt Karl's summer series in the Texas Hill country completing four 60k races over a three month period. My continued training took a hit in the fall and I entered the event mentally strong but physically not where I wanted. However with the support of friends and family I did my best and was able to complete 100 miles over the event. 

I'm going back to Snowdrop this year for a few reasons.

1. Pediatric cancer remains a threat to those currently diagnosed and future children 
2. I believe in this cause and it holds a special place in my heart
3. I believe I can give more than I did before
