This is a timed noncompetitive open water swim sponsored by Sawtooth Masters Association, a USMS Club.  It is designed for triathletes, competitive open water swimmers, and those who just enjoy swimming outdoors.  The Treasure Valley YMCA will be providing lifeguards and safety monitors will be positioned strategically along the course. Swimmers can choose between a 1,000 or 2,000 yard course (one lap or two laps) and get their race time.

Entry Fees (includes all races) and Deadlines:  10 Dollars for USMS members; One Day USMS Registration is available for 15 Dollars.

SCHEDULE:  

Swim:  1,000 or 2,000 meter timed swim (1 lap or 2 laps)

Eligibility:  This event is open ONLY to USMS members or foreign equivalents.  Registrants will be required to accept the US Masters PARTICIPANT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT as part of the online registration process. USMS Rule 301.4 - Age is determined as of Dec 31, with exception of 18 year olds, who must be at least 18 on day of swim. One day USMS eligibility is available for purchase and part of the online registration process.

          Two divisions - Non-wetsuit and Wetsuit

Start/finish: Swimmers will start in the water near the beach behind Idaho River Sports. The finish is an out of the water finish; swimmers shall exit the water up the ramp to the beach area behind Idaho River Sports.

Water Temperature:  Approximately 65 to 70 degrees.  Wet suites are optional.  

Buoy Placement:  Pass all turn and directional buoys on your left.

Results: Will be provided to the swimmer when they exit the water and posted online at sawtoothmasters.org

Venue/Parking:  Bernardine Quinn Riverside Park is a 31-acre park and home to the popular 22-acre Quinn's Pond. Access to the pond is currently open from CWI (formerly Bob Rice Ford) parking lot. 

A temporary parking lot has opened at CWI parking lot (the former Bob Rice Ford location) on Main Street providing access for boaters to Quinn’s Pond and the Boise River Park.
