Adopt a Walker

Please consider ADOPTING a WALKER, which helps to support participation of residents from THE CENTER at the event! When you adopt one or more walkers, you pay the entry fee for a resident of The Center to join the 1-Mile Family Walk. Every $25 donated includes a Fun Run t-shirt for the resident, race packet, and the opportunity to win special prizes in their own door prize drawing!

We also accept donations in any other amount, which can be made here or by check to the Houston Bar Foundation, all of which go directly to The Center.

Adopt a Walker and other donations made online will incur additional processing fees (similar to your race registration processing fee). This will show as a separate line item on your receipt. Please consider paying those processing fees so that 100% of your donation is available for the residents of The Center.
