Our organization provides an essential link for our Veterans who are exiting the military and pursuing an educational degree. Too many times we leave active duty service and find ourselves lost in the unfamiliar world of civilian life. The SVA allows our Veterans to feel a sense of unity and brotherhood that was once felt everyday while serving, allowing for a more enjoyable and successful college experiance. We are also active with in the local Veterans organizations that serve the local community and are helping acquire volunteers to help with the required efforts needed to set up and take down the “Traveling Vietnam wall”. Even though our organization centers on helping the Veteran we take pride in our efforts around the community. After the dinner our organization will go straight into collecting toys and items for the Toys-for-Tot's Foundation. From there we will continue serving our community all the while providing assistance for our military members in need.
