Pyramid Lake Sprint Triathlon

Saturday July 20, 2024 - 8am

Course Description and Distances:

Sprint:

   Swim - Half-mile loop - 68 - 72 degree water temperature expected, wetsuits recommended

   Bike - 14 miles - Fast course with a few rolling hills.  Course goes North on State Route 445 to halfway turn around (Warrior Point), then returns to Marina.

   Run - 3 miles - Flat and Fast out-and-back, course goes South of the Marina via pavement and old railroad grade.

This is a USAT sanctioned event.  You must include your USAT membership number on your race registration form and show your USAT membership card when you pickup your race packet.

If you are not a USAT member or do not have your USAT membership card available when you pickup your packet, you will be required to pay the One Day Mandatory fee ($15) to race.  Relay Teams must pay for all 3 members ($45).

Race Packet Pickup:

Packet Pickup Thursday July 18th 4pm to 7pm at Eclipse Pizza, 3950 Mayberry Dr, Reno.

Chip Timing will be used and chips will be distributed the morning of the race.

Directions:

Pyramid Lake is located 33 miles North of Reno on State Route 445.  From I-80 take Pyramid Way exit #19 and proceed North 33 miles.

Start and Finish located just South of the Sutcliffe Marina at Pyramid Lake.

All event proceeds will go to various charities of race volunteers.
