RACE DAY REGISTRATION IS SATURDAY, 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM AT SUGAR LAND MEMORIAL PARK.

Join us for the first annual Doggone Fun Run and Walk - April 12, 2014, benefiting Fort Bend Cares.  This family friendly event has something for everyone!  The day starts with an 8:00 a.m.  "people only" 5K.  This event is timed and is perfect for runners and walkers. You can choose to race the event for a specific time or take it easy and run/walk the event with family and friends.  There will be awards for overall and masters winners, along with 1st thru 3rd age group awards. 

For "Greyhounds" willing to go the distance, grab your leashes (with your owners in tow) and begin your own 5K at 8:10 a.m. Dogs and their owners can take part in the 8:10 a.m. non-competitive 5K run.  This event is for dogs and owners that plan to run the entire 5K - this is not a walking event because of the street closure/opening requirement.   

If 3.1 miles seems too long for you or your pooch, we wind up the morning with a 1 Mile event at 8:30 a.m. Plan to walk or run this event with your family or your favorite "pooch". Be sure to dress up the family pet for the "Best Dog Costume". Pups and kids participating in the 1 Miler will receive a participation award!

The event concludes with a wonderful post race party...food, music and fun!!!
