How do I register for the event?
You may register online HERE.
On race day, you may register at the race site beginning at 6:30 a.m. The race site is at Pavilion 3 in Trinity Park, 2401 University Drive, Fort Worth, 76107.

Is there a fee to register online?
Yes. There is a small convenience fee in order to provide particiants a safe, secure, and convenient way to register from the comfort of their home or office. No driving. No written entry forms. No stamps. No envelopes to address. No hassles!

Are all of the events timed?
No. The 5K is an optional timed event using ChronoTrack D-Tag Timing. If you choose to be timed, you will receive an orange timing tag that loops around your shoe laces. The 1 Mile Fun Run is NOT a timed event.

Do I have to be timed in the 5K?
No. Timing is optional. However, if you choose to be timed, it does not cost any extra.

Can people of any ability participate?
Yes! The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run are open to all ages and abilites. We do advise that walkers, slower joggers, and anyone with baby strollers start at the back of the pack for safety.

Where and when will results be posted?
Preliminary results will be posted beginning 30 minutes after the 5K & 10K begin at the race site, and will continue being posted until final results are printed after the 5K is finished or in time for awards. Results may also be found online immediately following the race on Run-TIME’s website.

Are strollers allowed on the course?
Yes! This is an event for the entire family and strollers are welcome. We ask that participants with strollers please start at the back of the pack for safety.

Are shirts included in the registration fee?
Yes! This year we are offering a choice of TECH or COTTON shirts. Registration deadline for TECH shirts is June 13. TECH shirts come in gender-specific sizes. COTTON shirts come in unisex sizing. Shirts are NOT guaranteed to race day registrants. While we do our best to accommodate size(s) requested, specific sizes cannot be guaranteed.

If I registered for the event, but have to miss due to unforseen circumstances, can I still get my shirt and race packet?
Yes! You may still claim your race shirt and packet at packet pick up. If you cannot make it to packet pick up, you may contact info@run-time.com to make arrangements to collect your shirt (size depends on availability) and packet.

Will the event be canceled in case of rain or inclement weather?
No. The Firecracker 5000 will go on as planned. Only extreme weather conditions creating saftey hazards would cause a cancelation. There are NO REFUNDS.
