This is the 12th Annual  Firecracker 5000!

Each year, to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day, hundreds of runners, walkers, and family members gather at Trinity Park. Each year, the race has grown significantly, and we hope you will join us this year and make it a family tradition!

The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run are open to all ages and abilities! Runners, joggers, walkers, strollers,  and even four-legged family members are welcome to participate. We do ask that dogs be on leashes.

The 5K course is USATF certified and will be timed utilizing ChronoTrack D-Tag timing.

The 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 7:10 a.m.
The 5K begins at 7:30 a.m.

An awards ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. Awards will be presented to 5K timed participants in the following categories: Overall Male & Female; Masters Male & Female; and Full Age Groups Awards for 1st/2nd/3rd Male & Female ages 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-70, 80+.

Food and drinks will be available for all who are present!
