La Jolla Shores Aquathlon
Come out an race against the best in the club and the city!
As a member of the Triathlon Club of San Diego you can enjoy all of our races at no extra change. Be sure to invite your friends to our races also. Non-members can join races by purchasing a one-day membership for $25.
This is a timed Aquathlon which starts with an approximate 1000 meter swim followed by a 5k run on the beach.
The swim starts on the beach south of Kellog Park. We swim along the shoreline and then back to the transition area on the beach. See the course maps below
The run is 2 laps starting at transition down to the pier and back. The run on the beach is open course. Please be aware of others on the beach and respect their use of the beach.
Stay after the race for cold drinks, pizza and salad!
Race Day: Thursday September 19th, 2019 at La Jolla Shores park. Meet at Tower 30, at the south end of Kellog park on the beach in front of the showers.
