This year we’ve partnered up with Zoot Sports for our team apparel and we’re very excited about what they have to offer!
Check out the designs below and if you have any questions about size or fit, Zoot offers fit kits for all of their designs at their store in Carlsbad (5205 Avenida Encinas, Suite J, Carlsbad, CA 92008).
The first round opening of the team store will run until Feb. 1st so that you have plenty of time to get your new kit before Oceanside 70.3!
Congratulations, our club’s collective performance at IRONMAN 2018 events has ranked our club 4th in Division I globally!

TCSD is giving back to the community! On Saturday, June 8, Craig Zelent has arranged for a group to serve dinner to the residents of St. Vincent de Paul Village in downtown San Diego. We need 24 volunteers, at least 10 years old, to cover the shift from 3:45pm to 7:00pm. Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to stay for your own meal once you have completed your work.
The first people to e-mail Craig at tricraigz@yahoo.com will qualify for the most coveted spots. Be sure to include the names of all volunteers in your response, as we will need to know these in advance, and Craig will reply to confirm your spot. Please don’t just show up unless your spot is confirmed! Any questions, feel free to call Craig at (760) 214-0055.

Calling all swim buddies! First off, thank you to everyone that showed up to swim buddy for the Solana Beach Triathlon. We had more swim buddies than ever before and we were certainly busy! We are now in need of swim buddies for Chula Visita Challenge on Sunday, August 11 at Bayside Park. We especially need extra swim buddies to either stick around or come specifically for the kids race which does not start until 11:00am! Please sign-up on the website or e-mail Tom Washington at crimelabtom@yahoo.com to volunteer.
We also have a number of great beginner events coming up this month! If you are interested in helping out with either our weekly beginner workouts or planning more events for the rest of the year, you are invited to join the next Beginner Committee Meeting on Sunday, August 18. We will be meeting at Leucadia Pizza UTC (7748 Regents Rd) at 6:00pm. Dinner will be provided and anyone with ideas for our beginner program is welcome. Please RSVP to Chip Slack at chipeslack@cox.net so we have a head count for dinner.
Visit our volunteer page on the website to sign-up for all of our other upcoming volunteer opportunities throughout the year!
