Our Mission – Fox River Trail Runners (FRTR), founded in 1995, is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit Corporation whose mission is to promote running as a healthy lifestyle in the Fox Valley Region while also benefiting our community.
To recognize the achievements of our member athletes, and encourage participation in local races — each year, Fox River Trail Runners (FRTR) establishes the club Race Circuit. Athletes earn age-graded scores at each circuit race, and every athlete who completes at least 7 races is eligible for awards at the end of the racing season.
What We Do – FRTR accomplishes its mission by:
* Hosting four races a year to benefit charitable causes
* Providing running-related educational programs
* Offering spring/fall race training programs
* Holding social events for runners
* Granting scholarships to local youth
* Sponsoring the youth Accelerators Running Club
