WashFest is a non-profit event to help raise money and awareness for charities, local scholarships, and fundraising events. It is a two-person team washer tournament and live Texas music festival. Last year, WashFest gave back to local communities by donating scholarships to graduating seniors,
Snowdrop Foundation, our main charity, and helped with fundraising for multiple causes. We hope to expand that by more this coming year, and for years to come. After 9 years, WashFest has raised over $300,000.00 for charities, scholarships, and community events. Snowdrop Foundation provides scholarships for college-bound pediatric cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors while raising awareness and funding for continued research to cure childhood cancer. For more information, visit www.snowdropfoundation.org.
The event, created by local band, The Washers, and now ran by a committee of guys’ local to East Bernard, Texas, and the surrounding communities, is designed as a community event and Texas music showcase all for the purpose of raising money for charity.
Just a little information about last year’s event…
The 9th Annual WashFest. The washer tournament had over 200 two-person teams. After more than 5 hours of tournament play, Juan Moran and Jorge Camacho, Sr. of Marble Falls, Texas were crowned the 9th Annual WashFest Champions; with Koe Wetzel headlining the main stage soon after.
Over the 2 day span over 2000 attendees came out and enjoyed the festivities. Over the past 9 years, WashFest has entertained everyone with live music including Cody Johnson, Wade Bowen, William Clark Green, Stoney LaRue, Whiskey Myers, Kyle Park, Jack Ingram, Koe Wetzel, and many other great artists.
The WashFest Committee looks forward to the 10th Annual WashFest, as we hope to make it bigger and better, with another outstanding Texas music lineup and the always entertaining and competitive 2-man washer tournament.
