Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2nd Annual Unforgotten Heroes Memorial Day Run!

We are excited to see this event grow every year, and friendly and capable volunteers certainly add to the success of an event. 

The Unforgotten Heroes Run is an family-friendly event designed to bring the community together, and remember those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. 

The day includes a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run. 

6:30 AM - Packet Pick Up and Race Day Registration Opens
8 AM - 1 Mile Fun Run Start

8:30 AM - 5K & 10K Start

10 AM - Awards Ceremony

All volunteers receive a complimentary "Unforgotten Heroes" t-shirt.

Water Stop Attendant
Keep water cups filled and ready for the runners and cheer them on as they pass by. Pick up any trash and clean up the area before leaving.

Site Clean Up
Help break down any tents used for registration/packet pick up, food, etc. Pick up any trash around the Start/Finish line area and Registration and Food tents. Help with any other clean up and/or equipment break down needs as they arise.

Please read any waiver carefully. It includes a release of liability and waiver of legal rights and deprives you of the ability to sue certain parties. Do not agree to this document unless you have read and understood it in its entirety. By agreeing electronically, you acknowledge that you have both read and understood the text presented to you as part of the registration process. You also understand and agree that events carry certain inherent dangers and risks which may or may not be readily foreseeable, including without limitation personal injury, property damage or death. Your ability to participate in the event(s) is/are subject to your agreement to the waiver and by agreeing herein, you accept and agree to the terms of the waiver and release agreement. You must be over 18 years of age OR the parent/legal guardian of a minor under 18 years of age OR the legal guardian of an incapacitated and/or mentally challenged person in order to agree to the text below.
I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury, accident, or any health-related issues which may occur to me during the race, including my death, as a result of my volunteering for this event. I hereby forever holdd harmelss, and discharge the Unforgotten Heroes Memorial Day Run, the City of Arlington, and all its agencies, RunTIME Racing Services, and all sponsors, promoters, and all other persons and entities associated with the event known as the Unforgotten Heroes Memorial Day Run. Further, I grant permission to use any photograph, video, or recording, taken of me during this event, for any purpose. I have read, and fully understand this agreement.
