The Unforgotten Heroes Memorial Day Run features a 5K, 10K, & 1 Mile Fun Run. The event provides an opporutnity to come together as a community and remember those who paid the ultimate price defending the freedoms we hold dear. On this date, we will "run to remember."
The event takes place Memorial Day 2014.
At 7:55 AM, there will be a singing of our National Anthem and a prayer.
The 1 Mile Run then begins at 8 AM followed by the 5K & 10K start at 8:30 AM.
The net proceeds of this event will be donated to the Arlington chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) - Chapter 157. Any donations made will be given to the DAV in addition to the funds raised by the run. We strongly believe in their mission and want to raise awareness about them as well as funds, so they can continue their acts of service to veterans and their families.
