7th Annual Walk for Mental Health Awareness - Houston 5K Walk & Mental Health Expo.
2017 word is STAMINA - The ability of an organism to exert itself and remain active for a long period of time, as well as its ability to resist, withstand, recover from, and have immunity to trauma, wounds, or fatigue. The ability to sustain prolonged physical or mental effort.

The public in Houston will learn about the effects on the mental health community by participating in family events, in October, for National Mental Health Week. Our annual “Positive Public Dialog” luncheon will be held on Thursday, the fifth of October. The celebration culminates in a family and pet-friendly 5K walk with an accompanying mental health expo on Saturday, October 7th at Stude Park.
***OFF-SITE PARKING day of the 5K walk at White Oak Biergarten located at 2520 Houston Avenue at White Oak, there will be shuttles driving walkers from off-site location to Stude Park.***

Luncheon: General public admission is $30 and includes meal and beverage.
Walk: General admission is $25 for 12 or older, $35 on day of event.
