Welcome to the 30th Annual Space Coast Classic 15k and 2 mile road race!  Our race is held in historic Melbourne Beach, FL and is the only 15k course in Brevard County.  The beginning of the course runs along the scenic Indian River and then throughout the neighborhoods of this quaint town.  It starts and ends at the Ryckman House, which is one of the oldest houses in Melbourne Beach, built in 1889.  A historic landmark!

 

This year we are continuing our theme of Classic Cars!  Last year was the Ford Mustang and this year will be the Chevy Camaro!  The finisher awards will reflect this.  Other themes for future years will include Vintage, Sports, Antique, Hot Rods, etc.

 

Our benficiary this year is the Space Coast Basket Brigade, whose mission is to provide Thanksgiving meals to Brevard County families in need.  Last year they were able to deliver almost 600 baskets and we're hoping to help them break that number and get them to 1000 or more!  Check them out on their Facebook page here.

 

We are a great training run for Fall half-marathons, especially the local Space Coast Marathon/Half Marathon.
