Event Information

This run benefits a scholarship fund for seniors of Huffman Hargrave High School. Our inaugural Thurman's 5K event, held in March 2013, was a tremendous success that resulted in over 100 race participants and $6,000 in scholarships for two Huffman Hargrave seniors.

Race Day

The run/walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, at the Commons of Lake Houston Pavilion. Check-in and race day registration will begin at 7:30 AM until 8:15 AM.

All registered participants will receive chip-timing, a commemorative FINISHER MEDAL and race bib. Online T-shirt sales have closed but there will be T-shirts available for sale on race day on a first-come, first-served basis. T-shirts are $15.

Music, post-race snacks and water will be provided for participants and their family. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers and the youth division. Chip timing and race results will be provided by Run Houston Timing.
