Last year we achieved our goal by awarding the inaugural Thurman's 5K scholarships in memory of Christopher Thomas Thurman to two very deserving college-bound Hargrave High School seniors: Kelly Dieter and Bailee Logsdon! Congratulations to Kelly and Bailee, who were among a terrific group of applicants and outstanding students. Each of these young ladies received a $3,000 scholarship toward their college education as a result of the tremendous support of Chris' family, friends, the Huffman community and several other generous donors.
