The Texas Stallions Track Club Cross Country program is pleased to invite you to participate in our brand new event, The 1st Annual Stallions Stampede 2K/5K Fun Run Walk, 10K Relay and We Can!^® FitZone to raise awareness about Childhood Obesity on Saturday, October 19, 2013—we welcome you to become involved in this family-oriented event.

Runners/walkers of all skill levels and families are welcome to participate.  The 1st Annual Stallions Stampede /We Can® FitZone benefiting the Texas Stallions 

Track Club youth running and We Can® programs in the North Houston area begins at 8 am on Saturday, October 19, 2013.

The event offers the following (no event day registration):

• Kids 2.5K Fun Run/Walk - $15, After 10/13 $20
• 5K Fun Run/Walk - $25, After 10/13 $30
• 10K Relay (Each leg runs 2.5K) - $110 (per team) or $27.50 per person, After 10/13 $32.50 per person

The run/walk course takes participants around the trails of the Forest Oaks Park including running in gravel, grass, dirt (possibly mud) and asphalt. 

Registered runners will receive a Fun Run performance tee and gift bag. The We Can® FitZone is FREE to the community and will offer parents/and 

youth to learn about the affects of childhood obesity and ways to encourage kids to eat well and get active!  

Age Divisions (Male & Female)

• 2000m – 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U
• 5K Walk/Run - 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 70 & over
• 10K Relay - Men’s, Women’s, and Co-Ed (50/50); Must be over 15

Award:

Finisher medals for all participants. Overall Medals for Top 3 Male and Female participants in each age division. Custom Baton for Top Relay in each category.

Important Dates:

             Performance Tee Guarantee, 9/22/2013 (those who register after 9/22 but before 10/11 will receive cotton t-shirts).

             Custom Bib Number, 9/12/2013

       We do not issue registration refunds. However team members may be switched until two weeks prior to race day. Contact  committee@stallionsstampede.com to request a team member change.
