Child Study Center

Our History

In 1962, community leaders recognized the need for a state-of-the-art facility for individuals with developmental disabilities where they could receive high-quality services under one roof. This vision lead to the creation of the
Child Study Center. The Child Study Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our Impact

Since its establishment, the Child Study Center has served more than 250,000 children and their families. Assessments, treatment and education are provided by highly-trained professionals. Each year, CSC serves approximately 2,200 children from 6 Texas counties and 7 states. These children generate about 12,000 visits annually to CSC. Through the Children’s Care Fund, CSC assists families from all backgrounds and socio-economic levels, with 74% of children served from low- to moderate-income households.
