March for Music 5K Run/Walk
This running event, hosted by the Blue Stars, is designed to support band/corps programs throughout the greater La Crosse area. Support for your favorite band/corps program is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Register for the March for Music 5K Run/Walk
2. Select the La Crosse area band/corps program you wish to support
3. $10 of your registration fee directly supports an area band/corps education program!
Come for the run and stay for a standstill performance by the Blue Stars. In the event of rain the full corps may not be able to perform. The 5k fun run will go on rain or shine, but may be delayed in the event of thunderstorms with lightning. Announcements will be made at the park and posted on the March for Music Facebook page or "@thebluestars" on Twitter.
Event details and schedule
Online registration until June 15 wth early bird registration pricing of $25 until May 31st. Prices increase to $30 on June 1st.
Packet pick-up and registration from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Saturday June, 17. Parking is either at the park or on the surrounding streets.
Run/Walk starts at 9:00 a.m.
Awards and performance will follow the completion of the run.
Registration
Online registration is now closed. Day of registration will be available from fom 8:00 am to 8:45 am on Saturday June 17, 2017. The race starts at 9:00 am. Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the run. Stick around and enjoy a standstill performance by the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps.
