Run the idyllic tree-lined streets of Flossmoor. This inaugural CARA sanctioned event is a pure road race with minimal backtracks as the course winds you through the six distinct neighborhoods of this culturally rich Chicago suburb. Discover this hidden treasure of the Chicago Southland known for its historic homes, award-winning parks, world-class golf, and warm, inclusive community.  

A race perfectly timed for anyone training for the Chicago Marathon, The Hidden Gem is easily reached at the nexus of all major interstates serving Chicago with convenient METRA train service to and from the city. 

The race route - officially certified and measured by the United States Track and Field Association (IL19008NM)- finishes in the heart of the downtown village and leads right into the kickoff of Flossmoor Fest 2019.

Runners will receive a one of a kind half-zip pullover, a special edition Micro Beer from the towns' award-winning microbrewery-Flossmoor Station and a swag bag to end all swag bags. Plus don't forget our rocking post party with live music and you can stick around to enjoy the annual Flossmoor Fest.

There will be a cash prize for top three overall finishers in men and women divisions, plus a plethora of awards to top finishers by class. All participants will receive a medal.
