It's seldom the chance we get to stop and look outside of ourselves in our day to day lives. Or even more so inventory the things, people and opportunities that have helped shape the course of our lives.

One of them for me was growing up with four awesome sisters whose hearts are as big as their hugs and for who I can undoubtedly say have made me feel whole, protected and loved.

This February 15th I'll be running my first half-marathon & trail run inspired by oldest sister Hazel and hopefully, if I can keep up, alongside her.

I ask that you help me in giving the girls of The Emmanuel Home of Protection the chance to lead better lives and inspire their fellow sisters by helping me raise a minimum of $250.

The Emmmanuel Home of Proctection is a ministry in Diriamba, Nicaragua that provides protection to young ladies who have been victims of abuse as well as a safe environment where they can receive support amongst several other programs that they offer.
