Susan M. Turley was 25 years old when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer.  She passed away just 5 months after receiving her diagnosis.

During her brief battle, she and her husband of just 6 months enjoyed a weekend away.  For those few days, they were able to forget about cancer and the impact it had on their lives.

As a memorial to Susan and all other young adults who have suffered from cancer, the Susan M. Turley Foundation provides One Weekend Away for those battling cancer.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Fundraising For Susan M. Turley Foundation
Chris and I are running in Susan's Young Adult Cancer 5k Run on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Our goal is to raise $100 for the Susan M. Turley Foundation. Thank you for your support!

Susan was a young woman who passed away from colon cancer at the age of 25. The purpose of her foundation is to sponsor the "One Weekend Away" program, which provides no-cost, restful weekends for young adults with cancer and their immediate families in a setting where they can escape their everyday pressures and be together in a peaceful surrounding for a few days.
