With the support of some friends, I've set a goal to run my first half-marathon!  The race, which takes place Saturday February 15^th at the Huntsville State Park is sponsored by Project: Love One. 

Each year the organization chooses a ministry or cause to support, and this year proceeds are benefiting The Emmanuel Home of Protection in Diriamba, Nicaragua.  This home is a place of refuge for girls who have been victims of abuse and provides spiritual, emotional and psychological support for the girls as well as opportunities for education and pre-vocational training. 

I am excited about the opportunity to support such a wonderful ministry with my efforts to run the half-marathon.  And that's where you come in!  I've set a goal to raise $250 for The Emmanuel Home of Protection, and I am asking for your help to reach this goal.  Above all, please be in prayer with me for this ministry and the girls it serves.  Thank you so much for you support!
