FEAT-NT is a 20 plus year old organization, that is run by parents of children with autism.  The services we provide directly impact families in North Texas.  Here are some quick facts about FEAT-NT and how partnering with us can help impact our community:

Although, national organizations are focusing on better community awareness of autism and research –

  • FEAT-NT is providing direct support to the local community to families living with the struggles of autism on a daily basis.
  • FEAT-NT provides monthly support groups, workshops, social nights, family fun days for families, tweens, teens and adults with autism.
  • We support and present only the highest quality of training bringing the most respected professionals in the field of autism to our workshops and annual conference.
  • FEAT-NT provides support services and mentoring to over 3,000 individuals annually.
  • Over the 20 years, FEAT-NT has trained over 15,000 educators, professionals and parents.
  • FEAT-NT helps families with the daily struggles of raising a child with autism by helping them find resources, provide tools for intervention in the home setting and by providing a network of other families to share with.
  • FEAT-NT resource center and library has over 600 books and resources on autism for families and professionals to check out free of charge.
  • FEAT-NT gives scholarships to parents and select teachers for autism training at our ongoing workshops and our annual autism conference. www.dfwautismconference.com

Our services are not available at all or very limited in Tarrant County. Our goal is to help strengthen families affected by autism and to support those that work with them.

With autism now affecting 1 out of every 68 children and 1 out of every 42 boys, our services are critical and your support in 2016 would be greatly appreciated!
