Friday Night Load-In
We need strong people to transport race equipment and merchandise from the clubhouse to the truck and load it all in nice and snug. We all meet at the clubhouse at 6pm, ready to go!

Pre-Race Set-Up at the Start Line
We need all hands on deck to make sure the following tasks are done before the party gets started: - Set up tents at the start line - Set up sound equipment - Set up the arch all while keeping early bird runners and cyclists safe!

Coolers for all aid stations must be filled with Water and Gatorade at Winfrey first thing in the morning - also set up a table with water coolers for the finish line.

Pre-Race Set-Up at Winfrey House
Lots of tasks to be completed inside the house to prepare for all the runners! - Unload the U-Haul - Set up tables and chairs inside the house - Hang the banners to direct runners to the correct location - Block off bathrooms inside the house - Assist the merchandising area with setting out items - Set out pre-registered bibs on the porch - Assist pre-registered runners in locating their bibs

Under the direction of our Membership Director, our volunteers will issue bibs to the runners that didn`t pre-register and welcome hopeful new members!

Race Photographer
Calling the paparazzi! Our runners and volunteers love to see themselves in print. Come early to take photos of behind the scenes race set up and great shots of runners before, during and after the race. Do you have a camera and are you willing to load your photos after the race onto our Flikr site? Then we need you!

Water Stop #1 - E. Lawther at the Stone Table Picnic
Cheering and handing out water is super easy but so very important! This water stop is located at the Stone Tables and will support both the 5K and 10K runners.

Cheering and handing out water is super easy but so very important! This water stop is at the Big Thicket and serves the 10K runners. Bring your friends and theme it up!

Course Monitor #1 - E. Lawther between Dreyfus Club and the Bath House
We could use a great cheerleader to be at our 5K turn-around point (E. Lawther between Dreyfus Club and the Bath House) to make sure those only wishing to do a 5K don`t get swept up by all the excitement and double their miles (doubling their fun!). You`re welcome to bring a chair or signs or cowbells (always, more cowbell!).

Kids Race
This is one of the more fun positions to help with. Seeing the littlest members of the club run with smiles on their face is even more exciting than being able to put "finishers medals" on each of them after the race.

Post-Race at Winfrey House
What goes up must always come down. These positions break down tables and chairs and pulls down banners, sweeps and mops, returning Winfrey back to it`s upright and locked position. Essentially, it all has to be taken out of the house, loaded onto the U-Haul and put back into the clubhouse.

What goes up must always come down. These positions break down the finish line and loads it all back up into the U-Haul and put back into the clubhouse. We have a great assembly line that makes it fun and fast!
