Walden On Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Texas is excited to host this inaugural event. The Sedlmeier Family touched so many people in Walden while they lived here. We are looking forward to making this an annual time of remembrance and healing with a full day of family fun. Please be sure to check the website for final route updates and family fun events. Volunteer Waiver
Please read any waiver carefully. It includes a release of liability and waiver of legal rights and deprives you of the ability to sue certain parties. Do not agree to this document unless you have read and understood it in its entirety. By agreeing electronically, you acknowledge that you have both read and understood the text presented to you as part of the registration process. You also understand and agree that events carry certain inherent dangers and risks which may or may not be readily foreseeable, including without limitation personal injury, property damage or death. Your ability to participate in the event(s) is/are subject to your agreement to the waiver and by agreeing herein, you accept and agree to the terms of the waiver and release agreement. You must be over 18 years of age OR the parent/legal guardian of a minor under 18 years of age OR the legal guardian of an incapacitated and/or mentally challenged person in order to agree to the text below.

PARTICIPANT WAIVER

In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I hereby release and waive all sponsors, contributors, volunteers, vendors, property owners and organizers from any and all liability arising from illness, injury and damages incurred as a result of my participation in the Sedlmeier Story 5K and 1K. I further grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, videos and recordings of this event for any legitimate purpose. 

I have read the entry provided and certify my compliance by signing my signature below. If a participant is under 18 years of age, I certify by my signature that the minor has permission to participate, is in good physical condition and has my authorization to emergency medical treatment in the event of an injury or illness.
