THANK YOU in advance for signing up to volunteer!  We need all hands on deck to make this a successful event.  By signing up, please commit to your times and be sure you're there on time ready to go!  Please wear a Tompkins FFA shirt, or a race day T-shirt to volunteer in.  As you arrive, please check in with Kimberly Domangue to receive your reflective bib (if needed for your position), your assignment and any directions you may need.

General Race Set up
After you get your assignment you`ll help set up the area that needs your assistance. This could be, setting out cones, signage, tables, trash cans, tents, or just about everything etc etc.

The Adult will drive the cones around the route and the 4 students will place them along the route per the map.

You`ll bring the trophies out from the school, set up the tables and arrange them on top. You`ll also arrange the medal table for all to see

Student Corner Assitants
You will be given a corner of the race to stand on with an adult assistant. The purpose of you being on the corner will be to direct the runners, encourage the runners and safety watch the corners. You will be wearing a yellow safety vest.

You will be given a corner of the race to stand on with a student assistant. The purpose of you being on the corner will be to direct the runners, encourage the runners and safety watch the corners. You will be wearing a yellow safety vest. You must remain on your corner until all racers have finished the race.

Pass out Food and Water as runners cross the finish line.
You`ll direct the runners to the food table to grab the food of their choice, and to the water coolers where you`ll hand them a water.

School Announcer......Suggesting a Tompkins FFA Teacher or Booster Club Member only.
You`ll welcome the runners prior to race starting. You`ll talk about our FFA program, the kids and how this race helps the Boosters club. Point out the trophies were made by the Ag dept etc. You`ll also announce all of the winners at the end. Times are estimated.
