REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

PARENTS: YOU MUST E-SIGN THE FOLLOWING WAIVER WITHIN 24 HOURS OF COMPLETING REGISTRATION!

2. Parent/Guardian complete the waiver as "I am an adult that will be participating with minors to sign for"

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO RMFS ATHLETES ONLY.

This and all IFSA events are first come, no holds. Once the event is full, it’s closed. There will be NO waitlists at this time time. If you don’t get in this event, try for another.

Each event in the RMFS region has been designated spots base on memberships, so not all events are open to all age divisions, as noted on the RMFS WEBSITE.

You may register for 3 regional events if you are in this region. If you are out of region and trying to compete in this or any RMFS Event, you need to email rockymountainfreerideseries@gmail.com. We will do our best to let you in however, we can not guarantee this. 

You must know your helmet sticker number when registering. Ask your coach. 

You must have an IFSA certified coach PRIOR to registering. Your registration will be deleted and you will be removed from this event if you don’t have a coach at the time of registration. All certified coaches have gotten an email from RMFS. (coaching certs can take days to get approved, which is why we said 2 weeks, we aren’t able to accommodate last minute requests)

All events will have a MANDATORY coaches meeting the night before, as well as an in person meeting the day off (For resorts that will allow this). You must attend ALL meetings and we will call out coaches/teams, if you are not present you will be removed from the start list. Meetings noted on RMFS website.

All event information is updated as soon as we receive it and posted on the RMFS website. Please keep in mind MOST event information (schedule, venue, lift tickets info, hotel information,etc), we don’t get until 2 days to 2 weeks before the event. Nothing changes for you, so please be patient and check for updates. 

On hill inspection is day of at all events, no need to go early- it’s a big mountain event, where skiing your line, hitting your airs and practicing you run is not what this is about… there’s halfpipe, slope style and even gates for those who like to do that. Let’s keep this a “Freeride” event..plus you can get DQ,d.

Finally, If you got a confirmation, are in the RMFS region and have a verified-certified IFSA coach, you are in the event. If any of these are missing, your registration WILL BE DELETED.

• One-Time Athlete Members: If this is your SECOND event you must upgrade your membership PRIOR to registration. Do NOT purchase a second One-Time Membership as this will result in inaccurate rankings. Purchase the correct upgrade, $80 for 12-18 age category athletes OR $20 for U12 athletes.
