PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OR A VARIANCE YOU MUST REGISTER AT A LIVE REGISTRATION. YOU MAY NOT REGISTER ONLINE.
The SYFL places children on teams based on the high school the child is zoned to attend. All players, new or returning, must submit proof of residency. Instructions for submitting proof of residency can be found in the confirmation email. A child may only play out of zone if the zoned team is full or a zoning waiver has been granted (written requests for waiver required, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information). If you are not sure which high school your child is zoned to attend, you can look it up at http://www.washoe.k12.nv.us/schools/school-zoning-search/zoning-information.

The Sierra Youth Football League offers full contact football and cheerleading for children ages 5-14, through the 8th grade. Games are played on high school football fields. Our youths participate with their peers based on age, not weight. All healthy athletes at all levels of ability are encouraged to participate. There are no try-outs or cuts. Athletes participate on teams based on the high school they are zoned to attend. SEND PROOF OF ADDRESS TO PROOF@GOSYFL.COM WITH IN TEN DAYS OF REGISTRATION.
Registration Fee includes: A personalized jersey to keep for football players and a full custom fit with shoes and poms included for cheerleaders. All participants keep their jerseys and cheer uniforms. Price also includes team and individual memory mate photo, and participation trophy.
A $25.00 refundable equipment despost, it includes complete practice and game gear (except cleats) and personalized jersey to keep. If choosing the down payment option, it’s per child.
Two registration options: Pay in full for $210 or 3 payments of $70.
Please follow instructions for payment options. You may register all children under one registration, however you must choose to register an additional participant prior to "check-out".
Online Registration closes on May 15th. Most teams are full by June 1st, so the sooner you can register, the better.
