FIRST ANNUAL FRONTIER FIESTA 5K FOR THE BRAVE
AND ANNUAL HOPE, STEPS & A CURE WALK
Get ready and get set to run, walk and fundraise for patients and caregivers dealing with chronic, life-threatening bone marrow failure diseases - aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH).
The 5K Run will be over a beautiful, flat course on the University of Houston campus with the start and finish on University Drive at Lynn Eusan Park. The Brave Little Soles Fun Run will be an appropriate length for children six years old and under.
"Be the Match" will be on site at the 5K to register potential donors for the National Marrow Donor Program. A simple cheek swab is all it takes for the change to give someone the gift of life. Bone marrow and stem cell transplants are currently the only cure for bone marrow failure disease.
